swingarm extensions and brake arm
I have searched for this and no luck. The bolt on swingarm extensions look to be a fairly streight forward install except for the rear brake arm. Some say it can be done with the stock arm. Im extending 5.5". Can someone explain how this is done? Maybe some pics? This is probably something that is obvious once the install is started but I dont want to get stuck in the middle. My bike is a 06 busa. I will be doing the install this weekend. Thanks for any help.

Okay there are a few options.
1. Get an extended brake bar
2. slide the brake caliper forward towards the seat until it meets the factory bar
3. Get the brake bar eliminator
4. Buy a roadlok and modify the hanger

Scratch that, my buddy told me that 5.5 is to long for the stock to work.
Slide the caliper around the disk, not front to back.
Take it from 7 o'clock to 4 or 5 o'clock.
I have seen it work for some.

It does, so let me add if you get a longer brake bar you will have less room to adjust or slide. Once u add that bar ur stock within its reach to say. If you get the brake eliminator or one of the other methods Heavy mentioned, you can pretty much move your slider the full length of the new swingarm or extensions, whichever route you take. You can find the eliminator for 30-40 bukks on egay or maybe a sponsor here can help you out. Or my extensions came with the eliminator for 120 shipped i believe.

My extensions came with a new caliper hanger and I just realized how it all works. My brake arm will be eliminated all together.
Now I'm just waiting on the wheels to get back from the chromer.
