Great pics
answer to your weighing problem:
The dam bike only wights 550 stock with fluids, put each tire on one at a time on a normal human scale and then add the two weights. Keep in mind that cheap scales can be as much as 5% off. As an added bonus you can learn if your bike is front heavy or tail heavy although this doesnt matter much as the 170ish lb rider is missing.
For the most accurate results make sure the bike is on a slight hill so that when the tire is up on the scale the bike is actually level.

Thanks Nichin. I hear what you're saying and it's tempting, but if I do a job, I like to do it right. I'll get it to a proper weigh station eventually rather than "guesstimate" with bathroom scales and a slight incline. Given my dexterity, if I try that one I'll end up posting pics of the scratches in my fairings from when I dropped my bike!

Finally, the Carbon fibre Hayabusa track bike is (nearly) ready!
Just the front fender and some stickers to go... (though I'm sure I'll find something else to do to it in the future)

Did Superbike School today... didn't get the carbon fender in time, so used a stock Gen 2 fender.
Not great pics, so not bothering with any other than this...

Lost another 650 gms... the carbon fender is 400gms less than the plastic, and a friend managed to grind off another 250gms...
Bike (according to my calculations) is now 194.8kgs with a full tank... or under 190kgs with less fuel!!

Here we go...
I started riding my road bike. It had not been on the track, so I thought I'd give it a run for 2 sessions...
Then I got on track with the track Busa and fresh tyres (you can still see the yellow ink line in some shots)

A forum for motorcycle in general. This site is my personal website being ran by myself Heavybusa and soon BigGeorge. It is a place we can go and talk about all bikes dirt, street, cruiser or whatever else. Also a place we can converge on if Extreme ever has problems so you can get in touch with us to find out what is going on and when Extreme will be up and running again.

Hi. Put some stickers on the track bike fairings...
What do you think? Is that:
(a) too much
(b) enough
(c) not enough
(d) I want to see a "shopping list down the side"
