    Brake Bar Gen2B

OK to start we all know that the only thing I know about the Gen I Busa is what I read on the forum. Now for my question! That extra bar on the rightside below the swingarm [brake bar I assume] Is it factory OEM or is it an add on? My 08 doesn't have that is the reason I ask.

I believe the 08 caliper is on top of the swing arm and does not have a brake bar.

Yes the caliper is on top. Like I said all I know about the Gen I is what I've read and learned from you guys. Before I got my 08 Busa I came from 45 years of harley and Triumph. Thanks for the insight.

Yeah I cannot get to my photobucket at work, but the gen1 has a brake hanger that hangs the caliper at 6 o'clock below the axle so the brake bar keeps it from moving around the rotor.

On the Gen2 the caliper is moved to 1 o'clock and is connected to the swing arm eliminating the need for the bar.
