    shock squeak

    just lowered my 09 1in front and 1.5 in back. used the roaring toyz lowering links in the rear. my question is have any of you experienced a squeak by the shock area? do i have to adjust the shock? thanks

    I've found out if the forks aren't exactly even in the clamps one will squeak!

    thanks for the reply. but i checked the forks and they are even. but the sound is coming from the rear shock area.

    did you regrease the bolts and bearings or over tighten

    02 Blue& Silver,Tobin seat,Puig double bubble dark screen,clear led tail light,clear turh signels,pair valve mod,air box mod,k&n filter, hmf full dual high mount system,misc. blue anoized parts.

    i actually had it done at a motorrcycle shop. i think it might be overtighten but i was sure if you had to adjust the rebound of the shock. i will call the shop on tues when they open thanks
