unless you have used them you can not understand the differance they make.... it's like day and night over the stock.... I ride the shorts, two fingers on the clutch and two on the brake. not sure I could go back if I had to.... it's a good investment!!!!

X3, I too run the shorts and could never go back. Unless you try them, you won't really see the difference, but the smoothness combined with new braided lines are a really good upgrade.

yeah, if you 2-finger break, you will no longer have the lever crushing your pinky finger under hard braking with stock long levers.

I have the long ones, no question they are a huge improvement over stock.

Old, but still treacherous - AMA #420393 - 1 3/8" Genmar bar riser - Suzuki DB screen - Corbin seats - Pazzo levers (with a lot of help from my friends!) - Yoshi carbon RS3's - Roadlok- Billet sprocket cover- HIDs-braided brake lines

Ditto on the long ones here. As far as crushing my pinky on the brakes -- that's what those little adjusters are for I only use my two middle fingers for the brakes, so I just used the adjuster to make sure that I can get full range of motion with the lever without crushing my fingers.

I have the long black with gold adjusters. The only issue I have had is with my bar risers the adjuster would hit the right inner and readjust my brake on the fly when doing slow speed sharp turns. No biggie tho'. OH and the clutch lever hits the bar end. But they are a great improvment over the stockers.

it helps to have braided lines and aftermarket pads as well. I have short fingers and carpal tunnel in my right hand, so i have the shorties angled down and adjusted for a short pull, but with 2 fingers she stops JUST fine.

(mine are also angled down :highfive

I'd like to add to that -- a PROPERLY bled brake system really helps too
