Radiator removal, what should I know?

A buddy on mine has a leaky radiator on his Busa (due to a minor wreak) and I am the one he asked to remove and replace it. Never removed the Busa radiator before, it looks straight forward. Is there any issues I need to be concern about? Looks like a few bolts holding it on there, un-bolt replace and bolt back on??? Anything special (tools, bike position, concerns) I need to know?

    Thanks guys!

I just looked at mine a sec ago and it doesn't look like there is anything special you need to do.

It is a place we can go and talk about all bikes dirt, street, cruiser or whatever else. Also a place we can converge on if Extreme ever has problems so you can get in touch with us to find out what is going on and when Extreme will be up and running again.

It's not hard at all, it'll be a lot easier if you remove the wheel and fender.

I've removed mine a couple of times to replace headers...

It depends on how old the Busa is. Mine's a 99 and the bolts holding the bracket on the bottom had corroded and a spanner wouldn't grip them. I had to grind them out.

It is a straightforward task. Any issues will be immediately obvious (and rectifiable).

Don't strip the upper bolts. I did on my wife's old Busa and they stripped really easy.

    Angry

On the 05 it is easy to goof up the positioning of the line runs back to the reservoir so that the fan can cut it. So I heard
Something worth considering while you have it out and going to be soldering on it anyway would be installing a bleed petcock. That is on my to do list for early spring
