    Removing Rearsets

    Hey Guys

I'm gonna be removing my rearsets for powdercoating in the next day or so and was wondering if there are any good step-by-step threads to help me out?

    Any help is appreciated!

    Paul

its pretty much a straight foward Job. Just pay attention where the bolts come from. And Dont forget to Loctite everything on Installation

make sure you remove the rubber mounts from the rear sets before sending them to powder coat, the curing cycle can melt them.....

Very easy job, especially on the 1st gen stuff, remove the tail plastic then remove the bolts that holds the pegs on,make sure you have a real good 6mm,the bolts are loctited in and can be very tough. I use a 3/8 cordless impact.
