Jay's wife Sheena (who also rides) went down tonight. I don't have all the details but Jay did send me a message saying that she has multiple fractures to her pelvis, broken ribs, and a fractured back.
I'll let everyone know when I know more. In the meantime, please keep Sheena, Jay and their family in your thoughts and prayers.

Just an update. Her pelvis is broken in 8 places... the rest of the injuries you already know. She's still in the hospital, awake and alert. As a matter of fact, she posted on her FB page today.

Thanks everyone for the kind words and prayer!
She is in Rhode Island Hospital and is doing better, She had surgery and put some screws in her pelvis to stabilize the sacrum where is was fractures on both sides, the other pelvis fractures and the 2 back fractures will heal on there own. Her collapsed lung is doing much better the removed the chest tube yesterday. The doctors came in and explained her injuries more to her yesterday and told her how close she was to not making it. But now everyday there is small improvements. Sheena was wearing a brand new Scorpion Ex0 1000 helmet and a Vanson jacket which both really protected her. Now she has a long road to recovery but will recover! There goal is for her to be able to sit up on her own without any braces in 2 months.It going to be a long next few months and she really appreciates all the comments she has gotten on here and on facebook. Thanks everyone!
