Those guys must ride that route constantly. To memorize every turn, every apex....they are talented...and must have Kahunas of titanium!!!
Cheers,

that is 100% amazing
wish i could ride like that
A fair percentage of the injuries and fatalities at the TT have been caused by people simply getting lost on the course.
Setting up for an 120mph right, only to discover at the last second of their life that it is in fact, a 70mph left with a stone wall on the outside of the turn.
The Nurburgring isn't as long or complicated as the IOM course and the consensus is, you have to do at least 500 laps to know the course well. I can imagine how hard it is to memorize the IOM route.

This is where the technology age advances. Isle of Man TT for Xbox 360, 105" home theater screen, appropriate lighting and controls, full on sound system. 500 laps in 2 days (of course with me it would take 5 days, with each one of them having me in a Dramamine induced motion sick prevention comma).
Seriously, though these race games today really do give an advantage. My buddy has whatever PS2 game, race car, the seat 30" lcd in front with speakers and forcefeedback this that and the other, plays the 'Ring' like a pro, said he uses to keep up since he lives in Germany and has driven the course, and rode several of his vintage bikes and Duc's on it. Definitely said the course layout will help when you actually see it.
Me personally, I would putt around the IOM and be happy as a hog in.... cause I'm that 'here we go 120 to the right' only to find out I was one turn early and now slamming into the stonewall on a 40km left!

Here is a 150 mph right hander on the IOMTT course. Shows a good sense of the speed.

CAT3,
Jester Interactive has the IOMTT game for the PS2 (not out for the xbox, xbox360, or PS3 yet),.. and it is pretty good. After playing this game many times, I know every bit of the track while watching the vids.

Good news for IOM fans in the USA,... Discovery HD will be airing the 2009 races starting (I think) July 13, and continuing for nine weeks each Monday at 9:00pm. Set your DVR's!
It's been a while since it's aired here (I hate you Speed Channel).
"150 mph right hander" is a difficult thing to get your head around when you think about it.

Hey, CAT3, DukeVideo will have the race hi-lights hopefully in a few weeks for download for $5 each,... right now they just have practice laps.
What's up Brian?
Not much, how you been?
