    I think if you talked to him in person you might find out that not only is he pretty enthusiastic about bikes and riding but after a major back surgery he's still committed to riding. I'm not sure I would still be out there doing that stuff after a back surgery. I think he still loves what he does, and thats the best getting paid to do what you love.

    He actually had back and neck surgery. 1 disc in lower back and 2 levels in his neck. I was watching his show and them always talking about how quick he recovered against his dr's wishes, etc... I couldn't understand how he could get back on his bike that quick... I'm 10 week post-op with only 1 level done in my neck and I can't get back on till I'm 100% fused. ...they finally said what he had done, disc replacement which makes sense... Just wish insurance companies would cover it, they call it "experimental" though couple companies have been FDA approved...
