    Yausa Battery

    Here's my delima....

I purchased a new battery from a company on Ebay.......last week...it arrived yesterday..

When I opened the box, it was just the battery...
No battery acid, no seal for the battery holes where the acid goes, and no screws......

I contacted the company, and they said they didnt have it in stock so they refunded all my $$...

Where can I order the acid for the battery and the plastic seal from?....

    TIA

    Rocky

So... you have free battery now?

    Batterymart.com is a good place.

I`m buying all my batteries locally at batteryplus

stock battery should be Yausa battery, plugs should fit.

You can get acid everywhere, Walmart for example.

Does the battery seem to seep out some of the acid when charging?...Is this normal?

Man I missed this, yeah the battery is boiling. You may be charging it a bit to fast or at to high of a setting.

    Here are some interesting reads:

Nice links heavy. At the shop we sometimes have to fast charge batteries when the vehicle comes in for no start conditions. Cracking the caps if it has them will allow pressure release and reduce leakage to almost zero. Fast charging isn't recommended in your case though.

    ALright...Here's an update....

Went to Autozone, and bought the acid for $4.99

I checked why the old battery wasnt charging again...Filled it up...

    Charged it for 2 days....

5 days later, and it still holds a charge...

Amazing what acid can do to a dead and dry battery....lol...

Now I have a brand new Yausa battery that will go in a box and put away for future use....

Fellas, Thanks for all the help!....

Now to all others...Check your battery......

You are NOT supposed to top off old battery with acid, distilled water only.
