Ok guys I guess I am just not hip on all the cool stuff. What is the purpose on the extra battery?

hey guys....the second battery doesn't get charged with this set-up....and there fore the bike doesn't know it's there......I have this set-up and I have to charge the second battery weekly.....and the power system/bike only runs and uses the primary battery for all running purposes......the second battery is only for starting a high compression motor.....

i bought the switch system from orient express the way you hook it up is as follows i called tiger racing today and he helped me out when you get the switch there are 6 wires with it there are 3 red and 3 black/brown wires first you take the wire off the starter there is only that one wire then follow it back to the starter relay and take that wire completely out you dont need it now that that is out of there you can hook up the switch

the really long red wire goes to the starter the black wire zip tied to it goes to the place on the starter relay that you took that other wire off then you put a red and black wire to each of the batteries a its done you flick the switch one way for 24v starting then flick it the other way and now both batteries get charged. Now they dont give you much wire so you are very limited on where you can mount it so i put it here where i can get at it with out having to take anything off and its hidden unless you look for it here are some pictures to help others out

    battery bolted in

now the little black piece that used to be here i had to take out b/c it was hitting the battery making it hard to put the fairing on so i took it out mounted the switch a lil nicer than you see in this pic and left it like that

I installed my own switch right into the dash area. The only thing is that I keep forgetting to switch it back so both batteries charge after starting.
