    vance and hines performance header

    well i installed the or well i am installing the vance and hines performance header on the busa nd well , its all good for now, i have one question , the two small bolts and spacers ? do they go on one of the oil cooler mounts or do they go on the mount under the bike for the header !

    anyone install one of these before any help or ideas!

    i emailed vance and hines so we will see what they say , and some instructions would be nice when you buy things !

    v&h says they go on the colector bracket inder the bike!

    you have to trun the mounting bracket around , i knew that , and then the two small bolts and spacers go between the bracket and the bike ! moves the bracket down a little , ill take some pics tonight and post them !

    well i emailed them befor i called and well i get an email back now says they go on the lower cooler bracket in the front of the bike , whitch is wher i have them now , i wish they would send instructions, i emailed them back to double check , so let see what they say now !

    ok they faxed over the instructions but no pics and the wording realy dont help but we did get it strait! the spacers go on the lower bracket on the radiator pics att

    yes sir i am ready, got up at 3:45 am loaded the bike and headed to johnny cheese in round rock, got her about 8:45

    any how after a couple hours of tweekeing , got it lined out dynoed at 187 hp and 110+ ftbls of torque ! ecu editor only , no PC no Bazzas , just tune and flash !

    k&n filter ---------vance and hines 4 into 2 dule s.s. headers and m4 sliip ons with baffles removed !

    he is going to email me the dyno graphs , man what a diff that tune makes ,

    i dont have a stock base line but it pulled 180 with the exhaust and filter, before the tune !!!!!!!!!!!!!

    this thing is sick i have some video i dont realy know how to get it on the forum but will work on it !

    you know i do what to say how nice it was to meet all the guys at Jonnys shop , risking the fact of sounding gey, they were realy cool and like family, everyone working on anything ! was a very nice meet !

    I have the Yosh R-77 slip on's. Was thinking to add the Vance Hines headers like you did. I'm going mostly for sound. Did you notice a big sound difference when you tossed the stock headers and added the performance headers to your slip on's? The slip on's alone are still too quiet for me. Do you think the headers added great sound or was that from your slip on's with baffles removed. Any insight is greatly appreciated!
