i like the options in trailer#1. on the subject of trailers, what worries me the most is someone backing up a truck and taking the whole trailer. anything in place to prevent that? wheel locks or something like that?

Trailer #1 for sure. Get an alarm to go with that camera system and you will be set. That Master-Lock combo BigG mentioned is also worth the money. I have both on my trailer and while impenetrable does give a bit more comfort.

Sorry to thread jack for a second but this is kinda funny.
We had a guy end up over here in no mans land from New York and he got pulled over by an Oregon State Tropper (a friend of mine) he was going to write a ticket for no insurance and no DL, but when he asked for the guys license he hand him a little piece of paper that read "This person is related to a New York City police officer and I would expect you to extend him the same curticy as you would me". That didn't work out well, he didn't go to jail but he didn't have a car anymore.
Josh saying his sis works for the PD made me remember that.
