Carl decided to name it the Heavy Bus Because it was so much bigger than his RC51.
Well one thing led to another and before you know it we were talking about going Land Speed Racing on the Heavy Bus. A little research revealed only one Woman over 200mph on a bike so the Goal was pretty obvious. Join the 200MPH Club! Unfortunately while we were still in the early stages 2 more Women went over 200MPH. Now there are 3 Women over 200MPH but they are all there on TURBO Busa's. So suddenly it became pretty apparent 200MPH ALL MOTOR!
If you take a look in the Video's Section there are 2 Video's posted of where we are so far or you can look here

Things have rocked along pretty good as you might have seen in the Video's starting with a basically stock 04 Busa with Slip-ons and gradually making the changes to increase power. Again if you look at my thread in the Video sections it's much more detailed in photo's and mods done. Somewhere a few days into the LSR Venture a few very close friends decided to sell their Busa and offered us their Brock's New Hayabusa Owner Kit! FREE! http://prostores2.carrierzone.com/se...Special/Detail
Well here we go! Shortly afterward I asked my employer FamilyPowerSports http://familypowersports.com/ if they would be interested in offering us some Sponsorship. Which they offered in the form of Tires and Dyno time. Things were looking pretty good. I had a few Prospects in GenMar and Glare Polish and thats when it happened!
I got a PM here on the board from THE ADMIN
Well you never know until you open it up and look.
EXTREMEBUSA.COM Is now my #1 Sponsor! IT'S OFFICIAL EXTREMEBUSA.COM is now going Land Speed Racing! and everyone of you have front row seats!
I'm not going to go into all of the specifics but let it suffice to say that EXTREMEBUSA.COM threw down a package that was larger than our entire sponsorship package!
I really want to thank Big George he has gone above and beyond to put this out there for us and for you guys.
THANKS EVERYONE

There is still about 6 weeks of work left(and 4 weeks till the Texas Mile) But the plans include:
Big AirBox Mod
Sealing ram air tubes
Lowering the bike
New shaved tires
Remove the rear fender/mirrors/passenger pegs/Turnsignals/reflectors
Change the velocity stacks
move to Synthetic oil
New Chain and Sprockets
Swingarm extensions
IF there's time we will try to get the cut down tank finished
BLue painters tape on every seam
and we are looking at POSSIBLY ceramic wheel bearings
Of course we are always open to ideas and suggestions also

Cool. Ceramic bearings are something I have not gotten around to. And I really want them. I would find a already cut tank or get a damaged tank. Dont mess with your stocker, it look perfect. Besides, you will save on down time.
Actually we already a spare tank but I'm not sure if it will make the time frame.
Now where can I start buying those "Lord Humongous" Parts? What a Tool!

We're really excited about this relationship between Heavy Bus Racing and ExtremeBusa.com. We think Marie is the woman to watch! I've spoken with Marie and Carl on the phone a few times and they are very focused in achieving this goal.
