Well I have some bad news. We were out riding last night. I must have been about a 6 hour ride. We decide to stop and eat at Dennys at around 3am. After three of us were riding the same direction on the way home, when all of a sudden I see sparks. I see the chain fly , fluid spray everywhere. The bike shut down on it's own as soon as this happened. With further inspection I find that the front sproket cover was fubared. The mater link in the chain gave out. It was a clip on type. When he was at the shop ordering his extensions he decided to let them install it. I would have never let him get a chain that is a clip on type master. Well to make a long story short, we call the shop owner and he is blaming it on Yani Shiki for a cheap setup. Kinda telling my buddy it is his fault for him trying to save him a buck or two for not using the same kit I purchased. I know as well as everyone else most of the extension kits are around the same price. Well the engine case is cracked , that is where the fluids were coming from! This shop guy wants to call Yani Shiki on Monday and try to get them to cover his engine and repairs, I told my buddy have fun . What is your take on what may happen now?
How can it be Yana Shiki's fault ? The bike shop should have know not to use a clip on master link ! I blame the shop for stupidity !!!
Why the hell would you use a clip on master link when you run a motorcycle shop. Thats a no brainer. I'm sayin it's the shops fault.

A forum for motorcycle in general. This site is my personal website being ran by myself Heavybusa and soon BigGeorge. It is a place we can go and talk about all bikes dirt, street, cruiser or whatever else. Also a place we can converge on if Extreme ever has problems so you can get in touch with us to find out what is going on and when Extreme will be up and running again.
That's what I keep telling my buddy. I even called the guy on why in the world he would use one. He says that is the chain that comes with their extension kit!. I told the guy it doesn't matter, do the shit with the rite stuff. Just a shady ob if you ask me. I did mine all by myself and it was the first time. Shit all I did was follow the step by step I found on this site. Mine is perfect.
That looks nice, but need to get a better photographer or camera...

shops fault and they know it nail them !!!!!!!!
Who bought the kit ? Your buddy or the shop ? If there was no warranty implied and shop just did the work on a kit that your buddy bought off the shelf. I hate to be the bad guy, but I say its your buddy's fault ! He should research before he buys or does anything that changes the bike mechanically from stock. The shop can only work with what he buys or gives them. Im sure that shop would have installed a good EK chain if thats what was asked of them. You get what you pay for. But hound them a little anyway, the shop may want to protect their reputation, and you may just get lucky.
I like the screen and what kind of turn signals are those?

LED turns, I'm not sure they make them for the new models.

Nothing like that was every developed for the Gen-II. However, you can get smoked turn signals for the front & back. Got a complete F/R kit of those in stock too.
