I ran Micron on my Gixxer 750 and loved it. I like the sound of the HMF's better but I love appearance options of the Micron's.

It is for this reason that I beg your forgiveness and advise that I would be more than happy to be a foster parent and milage contributer to that fine looking steed and, for the record I am strickly a pitcher... I play for the home team sir. I bat one way; no switch hitter here.

While most focus on the current associations and connotations of the color purple, some focus on the historical and more meaningful. Purple has and still represents royalty, luxury, and most importantly: the Kingship of Christ. Purple is a liturgical color.

Interestingly enough, in Christianity it also represents the deadly sin of pride and at gay pride parades there is plenty of purple to go around.

Thank you for the compliment and as always, your post was very humorous.

Outside of nature and an Islamic association, you'd have to ask CAT3. That's his color. Heavy should know about red.

T, if you don't mind my constructive comments; get the dash panels painted to match the LE white/silver, as well as the tank guards; clean the front calipers if your taking a shot with them in clear view; the chrome triple cover caps don't flow as well as black or purple would-consider getting them in purple; a set of black aftermarket pegs will wake those stock rearsets right up... I know the silver rearset and pass. hangers go with your white/silver Busa, but the pegs in black would be a nice finishing touch IMHO.

Other than that, your Busa is eye-candy, and that you ride it is awesome. Too often you see bikes customized and sit in garages or go to shows. Very well done.

*sidebar* Green is the color of life, growth and health. Restful, promoting balance, harmony and stability. Quite the opposite can be true as well, Green highlights Envy, Jealousy and Inexperience! The Irish in me says Green is good, and is also used frequently in Islam for the renewal of life. And funny enough, the compliment to Green IS Purple! Go T's!

The question is not how far. The question is do you possess the constitution, the depth of faith to go as far as is needed? The Duke.

I don't mind you posting your thoughts about my bike.

The painted panels would take away too much black and add too much white/gray for my taste. The black panels flow right into the frame and the seat. I'm waiting on the gauges group buy though.

I've considered the caps. I'm waiting for winter and a guy named Chad to get his anodizing rolling.

I'm not sure about the pegs. Stock is very comfy for me. I'd have to road test some first.

....and I knew you know about green. Thank you for the lesson.

Big-T, I understand about the panels part...how about smoothing and repainting black? I do like the flow of the black dissecting the white/silver, very nice now that ya brought that up. Gauge GB? Who's Chad that will be anodizing? I thought about getting setup after this summer, but I'm Charlie If you road test the pegs, I'm sure you'll be sold. Better grip on the boots, lighter and the looks are A+.

Yes a Blue Gauges GB is in the works along w/ a few other GB's that haven't been mentioned. Don't tell anyone though. It's not like everyone reads these posts anyway so we're safe.

Chad is 06Busa. Sometime in 2015 he'll get around to testing out his new toy for anodizing.
