Didn't know about it. Wish I could, but I gotta work. The owner of Glass City is a good guy. I've talked with him a couple of times. He came to Jeff's funeral. He's done work for Fonzies bike.
He does seem to be a nice guy. I'm getting ready to head up there. Doogie is going as well. PLus falloutguy (i think thats his user name + some #'s)
Well, if anyone can make it I think you should be able to spot me. Should be the only lime green busa there![]()
Good luck brother, bring back some footage.

Doogie beat me. I think Doogies best was a 10.17 mine Was 10.49 I believe. I was haveing HUGE ****ing problems with the shifter. Then I found out the problem was it was empty. Leaked all out.
Also my bigger problem is dropping the clutch at 6,000 and it bogs way down and the goes. Even at full throttle. I screwed around coming home launching from every light. And after trying a million times I've decided I need to slip the clutch more to keep the rpms high.
PS... MILAN SUCKS Go to Norwalk or Martin
Pictures tomarrow. Its bed time. The misses is restless![]()

Pix of the restless Misses??? :p
BTW........Shawn at Glass City is good guy. Did quite a bit of plastic welding on my bodywork before she went to paint this spring, and I think only charged me like $125. Plus, more importantly.......He loosely knew our buddy Jeff, showed up at the service, & offered to help support Sam & I if we organized some kind of group ride/benefit for Jeff's son, instead of another local club that's always trying to media whore stuff like this. Thumbs up in my book!!
Oh yeah........raced my '86 Ford Ranger up at Milan back in '89. Good times.....Good times!!! Don't ask me how SLOW my time was though!![]()

It was my fiance's first time at the track and she was the photographer, so heres the best three.... I'll upload more later, but most are blurry.

Few more...
Real blurry, but the paint looked bright. I wish I would have told her she could be on the track before dark. Oh well![]()

Thanks. I just wish I coulda gotten my launches down better. Oh well. Thats what tomarrow is for. I'm going out tearing up the roads. All I have to do is mow the yard and hit the gym. She works till 5. So I'm launching for like 3 hours tomarrow!
Good lookin pix. Wish I could have made it
0 for 5 brother
Sorry part is if we wasnt having all th issues would have got me a coupl...wait just once![]()
Good stuff guys. And it sounds like you didn't need a calendar for Doogie's launches(nice times Doogie)! :-)
Looks like good times for sure... and your fiance did good on the pics for her first time there too(tell her to try and get your launch and then the clocks, those are the pics that will make you appreciatte where you're at later).
Consider launching at 4k so you can get used to wide open throttle and save your clutches until you get more comfortable with your own zone and then you'll naturally start slipping the clutch as you increase rpm at the tree as time goes on. The Busa seems to have enough torque to launch and pull fine at 4k and WOT imo, just get in full tuck at prestage.
Congrats on the engagement to you and your girl both by the way.
Todd
PS: Tell me that's not sneakers you're running in(and that they're letting you)!!!
lol. yeah the one I think I might a had ya by a nose, but then it didn't shift and it fell on it
