Def. have to find out what site that was for tho-mebbe I can drum up some more work for us while Im racing!

I do like Heavy's idea, but unfortunately, dbl-Rs here in Milw are all ummm...*sshhhh plz dont repeat* a lil slow at least by Maxton standards. Not a single straight-liner in tha crew 'cept for yours truly-everybody likes puttin their front wheel up more than goin fast. which explains all the R-1s and Honda CBRs...my Busa is getn lonely, lol

You need to find some bro's close to go with. That's how I afford PMRA. Usually three of us split the cost of fuel. In fact, they cancelled the August race because of fuel costs and the heat. Save the dough and go. We aren't going to live forever and racing is worth it!!

Racheal and I had a great meet. It was our first lsr event this year. We have been spending more time at the dragstrip lately.

Although I had the ZX-14 with me, I never got a chance to prep it. I had to do a few things to Racheal's Busa and that limited her bike to one run on Saturday.

We had only had the Busa for 2 weeks when we arrived at Maxton, so we decided to take it really easy and run on 6-7 lbs. of boost. We also had 6 degrees of timing out and were running 116 fuel. To say that we were tuned conservatively is an understatement! I logged a/f and we never touched the boost controller all weekend. The bike still had the speed limiter on it when we arrived! I made one pass on it Saturday. After trying to shift to 7th, I held it at 180 mph for about 1/3 of the track...being careful to avoid hitting the limiter with the turbo.

Sunday morning Dave O had an ECU (thanks Dave!) for us to get rid of the speed limiter in 6th. Racheal made her first pass on the bike at 193 mph. I followed it up with a 190 mph pass. She then upped it to 194 mph. I changed the sprocket and she dropped to 192. That was all the time we had.

Here are a few pictures. Special thanks to "Mark" for taking the "action" shots! And a "super special" thanks to Deb for the loan of the hump/glovebox from her Busa. Without it we wouldn't have had a place for the data logger!

I encourage everyone to come out and at least spectate. A helping hand will always be appreciated!

Yes, we had an LM-1 on it. I only had the a/f sensor installed at the track. The LM-1 is actually for my 14 but I wanted to throw something on there so that we could be sure the motor would be safe.

We are going to install a DL-32 setup and log a lot more data for the September meet.

Speaking of my ZX-14...every thread needs at least one picture of a beautiful Kawasaki:

Man, I bet you guys can't get enough!

But, seriously, the turbo bike is awesome. After my first pass I exclaimed, "I've got to get me one of these!"

I finally purchased my first busa (from the pics Shane had posted). I was a bit nervous before going down the track due to the power the bike has but it was a blast. My goal was to get on the busa and make it through the traps and shutdown safely. It was nice to actually go a little faster than last year. So my fastest speed is 194 mph

    It was another great weekend!!!

Shane summed it up well in his post but thanks again to Deb,Todd and Dave (and Mark for the photos).

We weren't going to get a Turbo...but then we wisely realized that it would take a Turbo on a Hayabusa in order to outgun my fearsome ZX-12R (she went 193 on that incredible Kawasaki)!

Ok found it! Here ya go http://www.divacustoms.com
The chick on the front page is the one that was on the trailer. It seemed like the trailer image had darker hair but it was at a distance so who knows. Todd & I teched in the bike that came in the trailer. It was a Harley bagger. He grabbed a record at about 129mph.

    or...

2 speeding tix and 1 assault and battery charge.

I'd love to go for it on the track, but it's too far.

Here's a couple of pics of me working on the bike. Just so y'all know I really am the one that works on the bike!

Here's me with my EBC shirt on swapping out my O2 sensor that was having issues. Not just dirty hands but greasy arms too!
