(SOLD) Passenger peg brackets, Polished to mirror like finish

I will post pictures later today, I`m at work and don`t have my camera with me.

Both passenger peg brackets, no pegs included. Polished to mirror like finish, no scratches, perfect.

I`m asking $50.00 shipped to you door considering amount of time I spent polishing it.
    12 hours at least.

I dind`t even find any on ebay now. Next time I would pay $50 and spare all day polishing them.
Some masochistic individual may think differently. Messy, noisy and polishing supply alone were like $20 and i already have a buffer.

I'd be interested in seeing those after 4 months of installation to whoever bought them.

If taken care of and treated it will look the exact same.

Every part on my bike has been polished for years.

If you want to save 100's of dollars you have to invest a little time.

Anything will look like trash if you don't take care of it.

That is what you see on my pictures. At least a year since those has been done.
Honda polish plus microfiber cloth when they dirty. 5 minutes will make them shine again.
No harder then water spots on chrome.

Interesting comments guys. What kind of treatment are you talking about?

I'm used to seeing something like this done to aluminum motor parts, but now that I think of it.. these pieces probably aren't aluminum, right?

Zoop seal for one, there is a technique to polishing. More than stripping the paint a rubbing until your hand hurts.

If you find one real polisher that reveals his secret you better write it down.

this polish is two years old and gets washed and dried thats all.

He was just skeptical, that`s all.

I`m not selling crap, not on this board, nor another busa boards. I `m new on this board but not new in this community. I always offering unconditional money back, so far I have no returns. I`m stressing that again, if you don`t like it I will refund your money.

Ohhhhh.. wait a second, I already sold it (not even on this board) and received the payment, It`s already packed and ready to be shipped tomorrow.

P.S. go look on ebay, stock painted brackets would cost you more.

I hear ya Vic, and I dont doubt you. But perception can be easily tarnished by a neigh sayer

And in this case if you havent done the work you cannot understand the value.

Those are a aluminum base alloy. They would only need to be cleaned 1 or 2 times a year to keep that shine. Engine parts that get polished last longer cause the heat keeps theme dry. Mothers aluminum polish would do the trick. Also, each time they get the once over the polish would look better n better.

If the pic was up in the begining, I probably could not have resisted.

I can do yours this winter when I`m unable to ride and bored. I have lovely 12' orbital buffer now. paint stripping, sand paper grid 600/800/1200 for a few hours, coarse buffing compound for another hour or two, fine compound for another hour, some ammonia based cleaners after that and that`s it.
