    New to the site

    Hiya doin? My name is Trina AKA Skootrrgirl. I ride an 05 black and silver Busa. My bike's name is Mufasa cause he growls,LOL. Been riding for almost 5 years now. I took the plunge and bought a busa after owning a Ninja 250 for the first 4 years of my riding experience. I know everyone says that's crazy but I just cut out the middle man, i.e. 600, 750, 1000cc's. I figured why spend the money on a bike I would just trade in later. So I went with my heart and got my dream bike. Other than that I ride with the Ruff Ryders and am learning alot. To break all misconceptions, No I am not a master at the Busa, I ride my ride and I learn as I go, I have much respect for the power my bike carries. I don't claim to know everything and I keep an open mind. I love to ride and that is what I do. It is not about the size of the bike it is whether I can have the courage and the balance to keep it on two wheels. I joined this site to learn more and to get to know a few more people who ride a Busa. Anyways enough about me I look forward to chatting with some of you on this site. Thanks for reading my post.     how are those genmar risers working out for you I just put a set of risers on mine but my brake and clutch lever are hitting the inside of the windscreen a bit, not to much to prevent me from riding it but it prevents me from locking the the handlebars

    You should be able to rotate them forward just a little, mine don't hit. Are you using a stock windscreen?

    I gotta laugh because I have no idea if the windscreen is stock or not. I don't know much about the bike I am learning as I go, I know I can ride it but as far as the mechanics I have a friend who helps me with all of that. I know it is not a double bubble screen. He thought of moving them forward but I was afraid that might throw something off and being new on a busa anything is a major deal to me. I did learn however how to change my own oil. LOL

    When I put my riser on my master cylinder was just scraping the inside of the windscreen. I rotated it just slightly forward until it cleared. The clutch cylinder didn't hit, so I didn't have to move it.

    yeah that is what mine is doing but when forced the brake lever hits. It seems worse on the right rather than on the left.
