    Winter projects and mods. 2011

Do to being accepted to school. Any money I was going to put towards my Busa is now going towards paying of debt before I start 8 months of full time studies. I have listed my Busa for sale on Kijiji but at this point not sure I am ready to let it go. Have put a lot of time and funding into my bike over the last 5 years to personalize it just the way I want it. If I do let it go, will be waiting till after I complete schooling and purchasing a brand new Busa or a low mileage used Gen 2 to save some funds to put towards upgrades and start all over with a clean slate. Probably would loose 1 or 2 riding seasons depending on when it sold before would be in a position to find a suitable replacement.

I stopped by a RideNow and found the exact style license plate frame with LED's that I was looking for. I think it was a great $30 add-on.

I've also been wanting to replace my directionals. I lost one of the original directionals from my TopGun tail and have been using some LED pods... but they only had 4 LEDs and they were red and hard to see. These fit nicely - not as perfect as I would have liked - but they are BRIGHT!

It may not have the traditional characteristics of winter but it's still winter nonetheless.

well i am going to wait for the mula from the moving company for dropping my bike during the move from italy to Ventura CA. then get new plastics, "again" and new front rim. then polish my ol MEAN girl up.

i am starting to think my bike cursed. "bought the bike in 2008 when i was in bahrain, the ignition shorted out "recall" (fixed") moved to italy in 09 bike came with dmamaged mirrors. (replaced ) then in march 2010 went down going really fast. 1.5K later fixed" 2011 sept a pot hole juimped out in front of me. LOL. .. DEC 2011 i have the pre shipment inspection sheet. and no damages are noted but one scratch on the rear fairing. but the bike came from shipment cracked, bent rim, fork tubes slide up threw the tripple tree. i cant count one plastic that is not cracked. o wait the rear seat cowl. is in tact. and left turn signal is cracked.. its like the front of the bike fell off a truck or something during transport. I dont know what happened all i know is i am going to get a pay day soon..

just ordered a few things for the bike. received my new set of tires going with avon storms ultra2 again, they lasted the longest for me as im not easy on the throttle and got some wave rotors coming and also a gsxr 03/04 front fender.it will make it possable to remove front tire w/o undoing fender and easier to clean wheel. oh ya also have a new exhaust coming from brocks, they have a great holiday sale on right now.if you are in the market id recommend looking around http://www.brocksperformance.com/Hol...ngs+C290.aspxi ordered these Slip-On System Dual Street Meg and other Holiday Savings | Brock's Main Store as you can see one hell of a discount
