To put this in context, as a young fellow I was surrounded by sisters until my brother John came along. You can imagine the crap those girls played constantly. This is well before singstar drowned out their cat calls. lol.
In about 1979, I came across Led Zeppelin III (which i still have hidden away). The Immigrant song blew me away from a world of Village People and the Starland Vocal Band.
I think the next time I enjoyed a record from front to back was the first Foo Fighters album. I liked parts of Nirvana but I like it more that Dave decided to do something interesting. Not great, just interesting. Those fellas seem to like Australia and they bring their A game down here every other year. I like that because we are used to making do with far less.
The Rolling Stones-Brown Sugar. Always reminds me of a night of particularly drunken debauchery while I was in college.
Second one is more obscure, "Roads to Moscow" by Al Stewart. You have to know something about Russian WWII history to appreciate it.

Ok I grew up with both kinds of Music Country & Western. So the first rock song that I ever heard and I heard it a parking lot when I was 7 or 8 and my dad and I were playing with a go kart he had built for me and when I have it balring in my helmet is still an invitation to a ticket is Wipe out by the Surfaris and then almost anything by Dick Dale.

-Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength-
