For all those interested in Architecture and heritage, here is one of our local watering holes. I couldnt get any photos inside but it is all wooden flooring and wooden panelling with veneer inlays, very much in the style of the era.
A fantastic place to sit and watch the local air traffic, step back in time. Its very original and relatively unspoilt.

Absolutely beautiful. I like the old style theme, with the horizontal stabiliator perched atop the foyer area, and Diner'esque lettering. What a place, damn I'd like to sit out there and sip a chilled glass of vodka and enjoy the day. Thank you for sharing.

It was built in 1930 and was the original officers bar and mess.

Wonderful inside and a huge piano in the bar entrance.
