February 4, 2010 - Fast Five -- that's what Universal is calling the fifth installment of the Fast and the Furious series -- is happening. And yes, Vin Diesel and Paul Walker will be back for the film, as will director Justin Lin and producer Neal Moritz.
According to Variety, Chris Morgan is also back, writing the film -- he previously worked with Lin on the third and fourth pictures in the ever-profitable series. The story for Five will find "Dom (Diesel) and Brian (Walker) as fugitives being pursued by relentless lawmen."

Vin and Paul, together again.
Last year's Fast & Furious was the highest-grossing film in the series, bringing in $350 million worldwide. So the franchise still has gas in its tank. Production on Fast Five is set to start later this year for a 2011 release.

I'm proud to say that I have never watched any of the movies in that series all the way through. I lost interest when, in the first one, they rolled in a "turbo" Supra on a flatbed, and popped the hood, and low and behold, it was a N/A motor in it.
1397,13-1,CNC headwork,Webbcams,bored throttle bodies,PCIII w/hub,LCD,40-shot,12-over,billet-covers,caps,triple,ect.polished frame...plus alot more, a true work in progress.
I only like the 1st, 3rd and 4th movie of this series. Tokyo Drift wasn't that bad. Though I think it's funny that the young car guys of today think that Drifting was invented in the mountains of Japan. We were "Drifting" our muscle cars 15yrs ago. Something we referred to as simply getting loose or sideways. Squirrelly is a good term also.

If you're at all into Rush, in the song Red Barchetta they're singing about driving in the backroads, and they say "shifting and drifting". And that was from 1981.
Ok, before you guys start crappin on these movies, lets take a minute here to realize that Hollywood is basically a turd factory. They don't really have any new ideas, most plots are lame and unoriginal, and to cover their failings up they dazzle you with special effects, action scenes, and/or bankable names and pretty faces.
Case in point- All the vampire movies/TV shows out there, the remake of the first hit--War of the Worlds, the Producers, Charlie and the Chocolate factory, Poseidon Adventure, Taking of Pelham 123
the remake of the remake- King Kong, Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
The remake of the TV show- Dukes of Hazzard, Bewitched, Starsky and Hutch, Miami Vice
The remake of the remake of the remake of the TV show---Batman
The entire black cop/white cop genre-- Blue Streak, Lethal Weapon 1-4, I Spy, Rush Hour 1 and 2, Cop Out
Lets Face it, we've grown accustomed to repackaged crap that Hollywood sells us. The movies are just an excuse to sit in a room with 100 other idiots in uncomfortable chairs while eating overpriced popcorn and candy.

Look at disney. That have a few different movie plots that get remade over and over. The parent trap is just one of them. Every 6-7 years is a new group of viewers and a new teen idol.
OK....just between us....seriously, don't tell anyone.....I have the DVD to all of em! lmao Sorry, I like watching the fast cars haul ass. Takes me back to Dukes Of Hazard! haha
